91. Seventeen forever

Posted in Diary on september 28, 2009 by OneMoreMile

Today’s my birthday, finally seventeen! I celebrated it last weekend at Fiesta Mundial (http://www.fiestamundial.be/) . I had an awesome weekend with Tess, Pleun, Vincent, Cas & Chun Wai. I didn’t have that much sleep, but that doesn’t matter, there was delicious coffee at Fiesta Mundial (http://www.cafecinco.be)! Thank you to everyone who already wished me a happy birthday or already gave me a fabulous gift! My parents got me a Bose Sounddock Series II ö ! Love the quality of the sound!

I love my life, and I want to be seventeen forever. This year will be the best ever!

I was the one who always thought that I knew exactly who I am. The last few months I discovered that’s totally not true. I thought I was a very complicated person, hard to read, hard to understand and stuff. But clearly you can read me like a book. My face shows everything, my eyes tell my whole life and I don’t even know it. I always thought I knew what the world was about. Wrong again, my parents are overprotective, I haven’t seen even the half of what the world’s about. I was sure about kind of everything, sure about how my future would look.. And then you just walked in. Now I’m finally getting to know myself. And all of a sudden nothing is sure anymore. I’m not even sure that I’ll be studying history next year.. Maybe I should do politics.. It creeps me out, but I’m glad that I have you.

89. Quality

In our lives we all want high quality, in everything. But you know sometimes we also like low quality… I want my music & videos to have high quality, I want my iPod to survive for a few years, I want my camera to make sharp pictures.. And then I look to the beauty of a polaroid picture. Let’s face it; Polaroid quality sucks. Unrealistic colours, most of the time unsharp.. but look at it; It’s a piece of art on it’s own.
I want to make pictures with a oldfashioned camera. My dad’s like “But you never know that your photo is sharp or not”. Who cares? Okay, it’s sad when your photo looks horrible while it could have been a perfect picture, but that is the art of photography. The true reason we started to make photos anyway. Yes, ladies & gentlemen, I DO like low quality, even in this 21th century.

Sorry, school started again, a little bit of time and a litlle bit of inspiration!

87. Remember my name

I wish I had more talent. I’m a good dancer, but I’ve never been brilliant. I’m a good writer, but never wrote a perfect text. I’m a good photographer, but just not special enough. I’m a okay singer, but my voice sucks half of the time. I can’t play the guitar, nor the piano. And you know, I just wonder, what do people remember of me?

& I totally ADORE the soundtrack to Fame 2009.
